Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 639842 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil filter.

    2. Object Number: 1706002 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil filter adapter (1).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1706002 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter adapter (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter adapter to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).


    Object Number: 639842 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
