INSTRUMENT CLUSTER EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH UNIT NUMBERS

SUBJECT: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER EXCHANGE/REPAIR PROGRAM - 1991 EXCHANGE UNIT NUMBERS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: ALL 1991 PASSENGER CARS AND TRUCKS

The instrument cluster exchange/repair program for digital and quartz speedometer and Driver Information Centre (D.I.C.) modules includes the 1991 models. This program provides repaired component assemblies in exchange for inoperative ones at no charge during the New Vehicle Warranty period. For applications beyond the new vehicle warranty period, the program offers these same assemblies at a cost substantially below new replacement units.

When a replacement assembly is required for a 1991 model, the following chart should be referred to. Please pay special attention to those clusters where only the speedometer assembly is exchangeable.

The remaining portions of the cluster such as fuel gauge, temperature gauges, etc., are replaceable through the normal parts and warranty channels.
