SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON DOOR OPENING WEATHERSTRIP COLOUR CHANGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-1992 ALLANTE

Some late 1991 model year and all 1992 model year Allantes are equipped with black door opening weatherstrips regardless of the interior colour. These weatherstrips were previously interior colour and were changed to reduce the soiling of the lighter coloured weatherstrips. The black weatherstrips should not be replaced to match interior colour parts on cars that are equipped with black weatherstrips from the factory. Past model service parts are unaffected and will continue to be available in colours.
