DOOR WEATHER STRIP COLOR INFO ON BLK. WEATHER STRIPS

SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON ALLANTE DOOR OPENING WEATHERSTRIP COLOR CHANGE

Some late 1991 model year and all 1992 model year Allantes are equipped with black door openings weatherstrips regardless of the interior color. These weatherstrips were previously interior color and were changed to reduce the soiling of the lighter colored weatherstrips. The black weatherstrips should not be replaced to match interior color parts on cars that are equipped with black weatherstrips from the factory. Past model service parts are unaffected and will continue to be available in colors.
