NEW DESIGN CAMPAIGN COMPLETION LABELS

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform you of the development of a new campaign completion label. This new label uses a more durable and super adhesive material. It also incorporates the Cadillac logo utilizing a black-on-silver color scheme along with a highly-visible "International Orange" border.

Enclosed is an initial supply of these new labels. Please dispose of all old white campaign completion labels (catalog number S-1015) immediately and begin using this new one.

Additional labels may be ordered from Cadillac Stationery Control; P.O. Box 2803; Livonia, MI 48151 or via telephone at 1-800-892-2000. Orders will be limited to 250 labels per dealer (the catalog number will remain S-1015).

In accordance with previously published procedures, whenever a campaign is completed a campaign completion label should be affixed on a clean, dry surface of the radiator support tie bar in an area clearly visible when the hood is raised. Each label provides space to print in ink (or type) the subject campaign number and your five-digit Cadillac dealer code. Dealers are to take the steps necessary to ensure that this label is properly completed and affixed on each corrected vehicle.

Any questions regarding this new label or campaign administration should be directed to your Cadillac Zone Service Manager.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
