Rear Side Door Locator Replacement Door Side

Removal Procedure

    Important: By removing the power sliding door (PSD) 15A fuse, the low current logic power for both the LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM) will be interrupted and both PSDs will be inoperative.

  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.

  3. Object Number: 1480581  Size: SH
  4. Remove the sliding door locating pin screws (3).
  5. Remove the sliding door locating pin (2) from the vehicle (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1480581  Size: SH
  1. Install the sliding door locating pin (2) to the sliding door (1).
  2. Loosely install the sliding door locating pin screws (3), just tightly enough to retain the locating pin.
  3. Close and then reopen the sliding door.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Re-torque the locating pin screws to the sliding door.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the sliding door locating pin screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .
  8. Close the sliding door.

Rear Side Door Locator Replacement Pillar Side

Removal Procedure

    Important: By removing the power sliding door (PSD) 15A fuse, the low current logic power for both the LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM) will be interrupted and both PSDs will be inoperative.

  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Open the sliding door.

  4. Remove the sliding door locator screws (3) from the B-pillar.
  5. Remove the sliding door locator (2) from the B-pillar.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sliding door locator (2) to the B-pillar.
  2. Loosely install the sliding door locator screws (3), just tightly enough to retain the locator.
  3. Close and then reopen the sliding door.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Re-torque the locator screws to the sliding door.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the sliding door locator screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    Important: By installing the 15A fuse, the low current logic power will be restored to both the LH and RH PSDMs and the PSDs will be operational. However, both PSDMs will have to learn the full open and full closed positions of the PSD. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .

  7. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
  8. Close the sliding door.
