SUBJECT: ENGINE DOES NOT STAY RUNNING ON COLD START (DIAGNOSE/INSTALL NEW PROM)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-93 "N" MODELS WITH 3300 (VIN N, RPO LG7)

THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES CORPORATE BULLETIN REFERENCE NUMBER 106505.** THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO INCLUDE THE 1993 MODEL YEAR AND TO REVISE THE 1992 MODEL YEAR PART NUMBERS.

CONDITION:

--------- Some 1991-93 "N" models equipped with a 3300 engine (VIN Code N, RPO LG7), may experience a condition described as engine does not stay running on initial cold start.

CORRECTION:

---------- If this condition is experienced and cannot be repaired by using currently published service diagnostic procedures, it may be necessary to install a new service MEM-CAL after basic engine controls and systems performance have been verified.
