TRANSAXLE CONVERTER COVER INTERFERENCE NOISE - REPAIR

MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-86 SKYHAWKS EQUIPPED WITH 2.0L ENGINES (VIN CODE P)

Some 1985 and early 1986 Skyhawks cars with automatic transaxles may exhibit a noise generated by an interference condition between the plastic transaxle converter cover and the flexplate.

Vehicles exhibiting this condition may be repaired by replacing the plastic converter cover with a new one part #14094881.
