COURTESY FUSE NOT IN FUSE BLOCK WHEN SHIPPED TO DEALER

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 A,B,C,E,F,H MODELS

All 1987 A, B, C, E, F, H models will have the "courtesy" fuse removed from the fuse panel prior to shipment to dealers. This is to reduce battery drain during shipment and storage. On 'E' models, fuse 1 and fuse 5 are removed prior to shipment

An instuction card containing the required fuse will be installed on the rear view mirror by the assembly plant. This fuse must be installed in the fuse panel prior to delivery of the vehicle to a customer.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
