Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement.
  3. Remove the theft deterrent module wiring harness from the steering column harness.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    5. Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  5. Pull the theft deterrent module (2) away from the lock cylinder housing (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  1. Push the theft deterrent module (2), onto the lock cylinder housing (1) .
  2. Install the theft deterrent wiring harness to the steering column harness.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Replace the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement.
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  6. Program the new theft control module. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
