Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2006 🢒 Rendezvous - FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.6L 🢒 Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.

    2. Object Number: 1394032 Size: SH
  2. Remove the power steering pressure hose bracket nut and reposition the hose as necessary in order to gain access. Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement in Power Steering System.
  3. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (2).

    4. Object Number: 1395982 Size: SH
  4. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the CMP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1395982 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the CMP sensor bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the power steering pressure hose bracket and nut as necessary . Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement in Power Steering System.
