Circuit Description

The automatic level control sensor, monitors the body to suspension height and detects when it is out of range.

DTC Descriptor

This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:

DTC 013 Level Control Sensor Circuit

Conditions for Running the DTC

The ignition is ON.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

When the automatic level control sensor detects body to suspension height is out of voltage range (0.5-4.5 volts) for at least 1 second.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

    • Leveling functions are disabled.
    •  The accessory inflator function continues to operate.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.

Diagnostic Aids

    • This DTC is set when ride height is physically being held out of range.
    • This DTC can set when the sensor link is damaged or detached.

Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. This step tests for mechanical damage to automatic level control sensor link.

  2. Automatic level control sensor replacement.

Inspect the automatic level control sensor link for damage or being disconnected.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the automatic level control sensor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Sensor Replacement .

Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text.

Does the DTC reset?
