Removal Procedure
- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Remove the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Remove the fuel pressure and evaporative emission (EVAP) hoses from the engine. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service and Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the purge line from the purge line retainer.
- Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the fuel feed hose bracket bolt.
- Use the Snap-On® ACT1370 Disconnect Set or equivalent to disconnect the fuel feed hose from the fuel rail.
- Carefully remove the purge line retainer from the fuel feed hose bracket as necessary.
Installation Procedure
- Install the purge line retainer to the fuel feed hose bracket as necessary.
- Install the fuel feed hose to the fuel rail.
- Install the fuel feed hose bracket and the fuel feed hose bracket bolt.
- Install the purge line to the purge line retainer.
- Install the fuel pressure and EVAP hoses to the engine. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service and Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel feed hose bracket bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
