Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    3. Object Number: 180295 Size: SH
  3. Remove the stop lamp switch (1) from the brake pedal bracket by turning the switch counterclockwise approximately ¼ turn, and pulling back.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 180295 Size: SH
  1. Install the stop lamp switch (1) into the slotted grooves until switch is fully depressed against the brake pedal (2), then turn the switch clockwise approximately ¼ turn, the switch should now be installed and adjusted.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. If necessary, adjust the stop lamp switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment .
