Hood Front Molding Replacement Rainier

1. Open the hood.



2. Remove the bolts that retain the hood molding (1) to the hood.
3. Release the clips that retain the hood molding to the front of the hood.
4. Remove the hood molding from the hood.

1. Align the retaining tabs on the hood molding (1) with the slots in the front of the hood.
2. Press the hood molding into place until the retainers are fully seated.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Close the hood.

Hood Front Molding Replacement Envoy

1. Open the hood.



2. Release the clips that retain the hood molding to the front of the hood.
3. Remove the hood molding from the hood.

1. Align the retaining tabs on the hood molding with the slots in the front of the hood.
2. Press the hood molding into place until the retainers are fully seated.
3. Close the hood.
