Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 902561 Size: SH
  1. Swing the endgate open.
  2. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the endgate inner reinforcement panel. Refer to Endgate Inner Panel Reinforcement Replacement .
  4. Remove the screws retaining the latch assembly (2) to the endgate.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the latch.
  6. Remove the latch from the endgate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 902561 Size: SH
  1. Install the latch (2) to the endgate.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the latch assembly.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws retaining the latch assembly to the endgate.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the latch screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the endgate inner reinforcement panel. Refer to Endgate Inner Panel Reinforcement Replacement .
  5. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement .
