Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 600812  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Disconnect the left harness connector (3).
  3. Remove the harness retainer push nut and position harness aside to provide clearance.
  4. Remove the electrical center retaining nuts (1).
  5. Rotate the electrical center to provide access to the lower right side harness connectors.
  6. Disconnect the remaining harness connectors and remove the electrical center.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the electrical center and connect the harness connectors.
  2. Rotate the electrical center and install to the studs.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the nuts (1) securing the electrical center.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 5 N·m (49 lb in).

  6. Install the left side harness connector (3).
  7. Position harness into the retainer and install the push nut.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  9. Connect the battery.
