Beep Sound Eliminated On HVAC Control Head - keywords button CCP CJ2 climate noise panel

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that after the Climate Control Panel (CCP) is replaced, on the above mentioned vehicles equipped with RPO CJ2 Automatic Climate Control, there is no longer a beep sound heard when pressing the CCP buttons.

This is a normal condition. No repair attempt should be made.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
