Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Is the Low Heat LED of the heated seat switch always on.

  1. Disconnect the heated seat switch connector.
  2. Measure the voltage from the low heat LED feed circuit of the harness connector to a good ground.

Does the voltage measure within the specified range?

2.00-5.50 V

Test the heated seat low heat LED feed circuit between the heated seat switch and the heated seat module for a short to ground or an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the heated seat low heat LED feed circuit between the heated seat switch and the heated seat module for a short to voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
