  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Insert a CD magazine with at least 1 audio CD into the remote CD changer.
  3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  4. Turn ON the radio.
  5. Play the CD in the remote CD changer.

Does the remote CD changer play without noise?

  1. Disconnect the remote CD changer.
  2. Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the remote CD changer. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Remove the Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  2. Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the Radio. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
