Compact Disc (CD) Skip
The compact disc (CD) player has a shock absorbing system. The compact
disc player should only skip or mute under extremely hot operating temperatures,
or severe shock or vibration. If the customer travels on abnormally rough
roads, a skip condition may be normal. Test drive the vehicle on a
normal road with a known good CD. If the condition is still present,
replace the CD player. Refer to

Compact Disc (CD) Player Error or Ejects
• | Inspect the CD for scratches or smudges. Clean the disc if necessary. |
• | Verify that the CDs and/or the CD magazine are loaded correctly. |
• | Verify that the compact disc player door is closed. |
• | During periods of high humidity, the CD or the CD player lens
may become temporarily fogged. Warm the CD player and the CDs in order to
evaporate the moisture. |
