Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Do the high beam headlamps operate properly?

Go to Step 3

Go to Low and High Beams Headlamps Inoperative

1. Disconnect the Lamp Control Module (LCM).
2. Test the LCM power feed circuits for high resistance or opens. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 4

Test the LCM ground circuits for high resistance or opens. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 5

Test the low beam power feed circuit for high resistance, short to ground, or an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 6

Inspect for poor connections at the LCM connectors. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the LCM. Refer to Lamp Control Module Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
