The body control module (SBM) receives a discrete input from the driver seat belt switch. The driver seat switch is closed when the seat belt is buckled.
Fasten Safety Belt Indicator (ISO Symbol) (Red)
The fasten safety belt indicator may only be ON during RUN and CRANK. The IPC illuminates the fasten safety belt indicator under the following conditions:
| • | During the bulb check. |
| • | The body control module (SBM) requests it on. |
