Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement VIN K

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector and hoses from the EVAP canister purge valve.
3. Disconnect the hoses to the EVAP canister purge valve.



4. Bend the tab on the EVAP canister purge valve bracket to remove the valve.
5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve.

1. Bend the tab on the EVAP canister purge valve mounting bracket to install the valve.
2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve.



3. Connect the hoses to the EVAP canister purge valve.
4. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector to the EVAP purge valve.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.

Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement VIN 1

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the EVAP purge solenoid.
3. Disconnect the hoses from the EVAP purge solenoid.
4. Bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket to remove the EVAP purge solenoid.



5. Remove the EVAP purge solenoid from the bracket.

1. Bend the tab on the EVAP purge solenoid mounting bracket to install the solenoid.
2. Install the EVAP purge solenoid.



3. Connect the hoses to the EVAP purge solenoid.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the EVAP purge solenoid.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
