Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 207435 Size: SH

    Caution: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent valve electrical connector.
  3. Remove the bolt from the EVAP canister vent valve bracket.
  4. Loosen the vent hose clamp and remove the vent hose from the EVAP canister.
  5. Remove the EVAP canister vent valve from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 207435 Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister vent valve to the chassis.
  2. Connect the vent hose to the EVAP canister and tighten the hose clamp.
  3. Connect the EVAP canister vent valve electrical connector.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
