SUBJECT: TORN DOOR WEATHERSTRIP (NEW WEATHERSTRIPS)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLES 'C' MODEL

Some 1991 Coupe Devilles may experience a condition where the mini wedge lock assembly contacts the door weatherstrip as the door is closed. This contact tears the skin of the weatherstrip exposing the core.

VIN BREAKPOINT: Start of Production - M4210056

New weatherstrips have been released that include a notch that prevents the interference with the lock.
