Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 747729 Size: SH
  1. Close the window.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Peel the water deflector down far enough in order to access the window clamp bolts. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the window regulator (1). Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .

  5. Remove the power window motor to window regulator fasteners (2).
  6. Remove the power window motor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 508156 Size: SH
  1. Install the power window motor (1) to the window regulator (3).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the power window motor to regulator fasteners (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the window motor fasteners to 4 N·m (62 lb in).

  3. Install the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
