Did you perform the Head Up Display Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn ON the suspect turn signal.
  3. Observe the turn signal indicator on the head up display (HUD).

Does the turn signal indicator on the HUD operate properly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Does the turn signal indicator on the IPC operate properly?

Go to Step 4

Go to Turn Signal Lamps and/or Indicators Inoperative

Test the inoperative turn signal indicator signal circuit for an open, a short to ground, or a high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 5

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the HUD. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the HUD. Refer to Head Up Display Module Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?
