Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 789102  Size: SH
  1. Move the front seats to the full forward position.
  2. Remove the two rear side bolts (3,4)..
  3. Move the front seats to the rear most position.
  4. Remove the two front side bolts (2,5).
  5. Carefully lift the console assembly (1).
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector (6).
  7. Carefully, as not to damage the front seats, remove the console assembly (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Carefully, as not to damage the front seats, position the console (1) in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connector (6).
  3. Align the console assembly (1) to the floor mounting holes.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the front two bolts (2,5).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Move the front seats to the full forward position.

  9. Install the rear two bolts (3,4).
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
