Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the ICM connector.
  2. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the coil.

    3. Object Number: 43461 Size: SH
  3. Remove the ignition coil and mounting screws.
  4. Remove the coils from the ICM.

    5. Object Number: 43724 Size: SH
  5. Remove the ICM from the mounting bracket:
    6. • Remove the nuts.
    • Remove the screws.
    • Remove the ICM.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 43724 Size: SH
  1. Install the ICM on the mounting bracket:
    2. • Install the ICM.
    • Install the washers.
    • Install the nuts.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 8 N·m (70 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the ignition coils.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the coils to 4 N·m (40 lb in).

  3. Connectr the spark plug wires to the coils.
  4. Connect the ICM connector.
