In order to prevent parasitic load, disconnect the following components.

1. The negative battery cable
2. The radio fuse

Recharge the battery every 20-45 days until the hydrometer green dot is visible if the negative cable cannot be disconnected. Refer to Battery Charging.

Reset the following components once the vehicle is returned to service:

1. The radio presets
2. The HVAC controls (if automatic)
3. The driver information center (if equipped)
4. The clock
