GOODWRENCH VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM LABOR OPERATIONS

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL MODELS FROM 1980 THROUGH 1989

New Labor Operations have been created for handling the warranty expense on the SPO GM Goodwrench Vehicle Security and Keyless Entry System Components. Please reference the list below for labor operation number, description and time. The labor time will be the same regardless of the vehicle or model year. This information will be included in the next revision of the Buick Labor Time Guide.

The Warranty coverage for the alarm system is 90 days/4,000 miles from the date of installation. Warranty claims should be submitted in the same manner as any claim type "B" with Zone authorization (service parts replacement) Warranty claim using failure code 88.
