Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 371958 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window trim panel, as required. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear sound barrier, as required. Refer to Rear Seat Back Sound Barrier Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. If removing the center retractor, remove the belt bezel from the rear window shelf. Pass the bezel and seat belt through the rear shelf bezel opening.

    4. Object Number: 1277001 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat belt retractor bolt .
  5. Remove the rear seat belt retractor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the rear seat belt retractor in the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Important: Be sure to seat the alignment tabs.

  2. Install the rear seat belt retractor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt retractor bolt to 68 N·m (50 lb ft).

  3. If installing the center retractor, pass the seat belt through the bezel opening and install the belt bezel.
  4. Return the rear sound barrier to its installed position. Refer to Rear Seat Back Sound Barrier Replacement in Interior Trim.

    5. Object Number: 371958 Size: SH
  5. Install the rear seat belt retractor anchor bolt to the floorpan.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt retractor bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  6. Install the rear window trim panel to its installed position. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
