Preliminary Procedures

1. Release the park brake.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
4. Remove the park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement.

Park Brake Actuator

Procedure

1. Disconnect the park brake cable from the actuator.
2. After the installation is complete, adjust the park brake. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment
