Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement. Remove the rear wiper arm assembly. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement. Disconnect the electrical connector.
1	Rear Window Wiper Pivot Shaft Nut Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten Tighten the wiper arm nut to 19 N·m (14 lb ft)
2	Rear Window Wiper Pivot Shaft Gasket Procedure Align the tab on the gasket to the slot on the rear wiper motor upon assembly.
3	Rear Window Wiper Motor Bolts (Qty: 2) Tighten Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in)
4	Rear Window Wiper Motor Assembly

Component Name

Remove the rear liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
Remove the rear wiper arm assembly. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement.
Disconnect the electrical connector to the rear window wiper motor.

Rear Window Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in)

Rear Window Wiper Motor Assembly

Tip

•	Ensure the rear window wiper pivot shaft seal in the liftgate rear window is not damaged when the wiper motor pivot shaft is pulled from the seal.

•	Replace the pivot shaft seal if damaged.

3	Rear Window Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
4	Rear Window Wiper Motor Assembly
