Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 323533  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Rotate the high-mounted stoplamp sockets counterclockwise to release from the high-mounted stoplamp.
  3. Remove the screws retaining the high-mounted stoplamp.
  4. Remove high-mounted stoplamp from the rear window trim panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the high-mounted stoplamp to the rear window trim panel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the high-mounted stoplamp to rear window trim panel retaining screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the high-mounted stoplamp to rear window trim panel retaining screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the lamp sockets to the high-mounted stoplamp, then rotate clockwise to secure.
  6. Install the rear window panel trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
