    Object Number: 295357 Size: SH
  6. Align and install the upper module case to the lower module case.
  7. Align and secure the retaining tab (1).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the HVAC module assembly upper mounting screws.
  9. Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).

  10. Install the air inlet housing.
  11. Install the air inlet housing retaining screws.
  12. Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).

  13. Position the left air temperature actuator, then align the slots in the electric actuator drive to the flats of the shaft.
  14. Align the locating hole to the alignment pin on the HVAC module case.
  15. Slide the actuator drive on the shaft. The actuator drive should set completely on the shaft and the mounting holes should be flush with the mounting screws on the HVAC module case.

  17. Install the screws to the left air temperature actuator.
  18. Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  19. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
