Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right side IP insulator Panel . Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 295319 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor control processor.

    3. Object Number: 295327 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the blower motor control processor electrical connector from the blower motor.

    4. Object Number: 295320 Size: SH

    Important: The opening to the blower motor control processor is slotted. Access to the blower motor control processor opening is limited.

  4. Loosen both of the forward bolts.
  5. Remove the rearward bolt.

    6. Important: Tilt down the rear of the blower motor control processor.

  6. Remove the blower control processor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295320 Size: SH

    Important: Align the blower motor control processor forward retaining slots onto the screws and seat the blower motor control processor against HVAC module.

  1. Install the blower motor control processor.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the blower motor control processor rearward screw.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  3. Tighten the blower motor control processor forward screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  4. Connect the blower motor control processor electrical connector to the blower motor.

    5. Object Number: 295319 Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connector from the blower motor control processor.
  6. Install the right side IP insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
