Problem

Action

The caster is uneven or incorrect.

Perform an alignment on the vehicle. Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.

A control arm is loose.

  1. Inspect the control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement in Front Suspension.
  2. Replace and/or tighten the components to specifications. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement in Front Suspension.

The rotors are warped.

Refinish and/or replace the rotors as needed.

Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.

The springs are broken or sagging.

  1. Inspect the springs. Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement in Front Suspension.
  2. Service the springs as needed.

The wheel bearings are worn.

  1. Replace the hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing Replacement in Front Suspension.
  2. Replace the bearing. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing Replacement in Front Suspension.

The wheel caliper is leaking.

  1. Inspect the wheel caliper. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement in Disc Brakes.
  2. Service the wheel calipers as needed. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement in Disc Brakes.
