Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement .
2. Remove the instrument panel lower trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Replacement .
3. Set the parking brake, then shift the transmission into drive and push the shift indicator down until it locks, to allow clearance to remove the console.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

10 N·m (88 lb in)
