Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
1	Heater Inlet Hose
2	Heater Outlet Hose Tip Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Plier to release the clamp on the heater hose.

Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Plier to release the clamp on the heater hose.

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .

Use J 38185 in order to position aside the heater hose outlet clamp at the pipe adapter.
Disconnect the heater outlet hose from the pipe adapter.
Remove the heater hose from the support bracket.
Use J 38185 in order to position aside the heater core outlet hose clamp.
Disconnect the heater outlet hose from the heater core.

Connect the heater outlet hose to the pipe adapter.
Use J 38185 in order to secure the heater hose outlet clamp.
Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
